Hello, my name is Ashlynn Lewis. I am a junior and activities commissioner at Tracy High School.
My Role in Leadership: 2022-2023 School Year
As an activities commissioner, I have the role of planning and creating lunchtime activities each Friday and work with Tracy's rally commissioners to prep and help create successful school rallies. I help prepare and set up school events and activities. This year is my 1st year is my first year of being in leadership and although it can be a big task to take on, it's been an extremely fulfilling journey and I had wished that I had joined sooner.
My Role in Leadership: 2023-2024 School Year
As a Linkcrew Commissioner in Tracy High's Leadership, I have an important job of introducing and guiding our freshman student body to their 1st year of high school.

~ About Me: ~
Early Childhood:
I was born in Omaha, Nebraska and lived there while my parents were stationed at the Omaha Air Force Base. We, then, moved to Okinawa, Japan and lived there for 3 years. Afterwards, we moved to Tracy, California when I was 4 years old.
Cheerleading:
Along with leadership, I'm also a cheer captain for the Tracy High Cheer Team and have been a cheerleader for Tracy High for the past 3 years. Cheerleading has been a huge component of who I am for my entire life. I began cheering competitively at the age of 4 years old. I cheered for Athletic Perfection in Tracy, CA for the first 4 years of my cheerleading career, where I learned how to fly, base, back spot in stunts as well as learn the fundamentals of a majority of my tumbling skills. Then, for the next four years, I honed and developed my skills further when I joined the California Allstars program in Livermore, CA where I continued progressing as a flyer and improving my abilities. Afterwards, I took 2 years to focus on academics as I was preparing to enter high school. Going into my freshman year, dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges, I tried out for the Tracy High Cheer and have cheered for Tracy High since then.
Link Crew:
This year (2022) I joined the Link Crew Club as a Link Crew Leader. In Link Crew, we help freshman adjust to high school and act as role models that they can come to when they need help.
Interests & Hobbies:
I enjoy cheering and watching movies and shows. I love watching Marvel movies and my favorite show currently is Friends. I like to bake and read. Some of my favorite things to bake include cinnamon rolls, snickerdoodle cookies and pumpkin muffins. Two of my favorite poets are Amanda Lovelace and Courtney Peppernell.
